Dr. Samson Fung

Samson Fung is Managing Director of Fung Consulting . Samson is an experienced pharmaceutical executive with significant expertise in clinical development, strategic marketing and business development. Experience includes early stage activities to drug development, in-licensing and late stage marketing of global brands. Market access with particular emphasis in the EU markets particularly Germany (AMNOG) and Orphan Drugs has become an important cornerstone of his consulting expertise. Samson has graduated at the University of Freiburg, Germany and obtained his board certification in internal medicine with subspecialisation in oncology and hematology. He spent almost 15 years in various functions in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry peers such as Roche, Novartis, Pharmacia/Pfizer, Novo Nordisk and AstraZeneca. Successful biotechs like Micromet, acquired by AMGEN, accomplish his experience in the field; others like Morphosys, argenx and many more belong to his shortlist of consultancy clients.
